Question Does Ubuntu keep the Executables for all the programs in a certain folder?
I would like to know as I am trying to add Launchers to Avant Window Navigator but I can't find the path to the exe's for the programs I have.

Dont have it installed right now,but I think it is in the /usr/bin folder.

Hi psam3,

Simply issue the command: echo $PATH and it should tell you, e.g. in my Live CD Ubuntu 8.04 environment it outputs: /usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games
