Smile linux and 3 mobile modem
Hi I wuold like to install either Ubuntu or damn small linux but i cannot get my 3 mobile modem recognised using just a "live cd" never mind installing either program instead of vista,I have heard it is possible if you know what you are doing can you help I am sick of vista?!

See if your driver is here:
http://www.linux-drivers.org/network.html

You may want to consider a different Linux Distro or a different modem that is known to work with Linux.
