Red Hat Linux
Hey Guys,

I am having a prolem with my Red Hat Linux 7.2 installation.
Without fail.....about 30 minutes after booting my linux box into Gnome it freezes with some green line at the top of the monitor. I am a total noob when it comes to linux but I cant help but wonder if it is something related to my video card which is a rage 128 pro.

AMD K6 500mhz
128 MB sdram
Rage 128 Pro

Is there some way to check what caused the freeze up everytime? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

It seems as if this card is not supported under RedHat 7.1:

so you may need to try a more current distribution or a different video card.

Hope this helps.
