Hi,

Could anyone please tell me how can i lock the AIX system by using a command in a terminal. Please.

Do you mean simply locking the screen by password, or securing the system from attack?

If you are not running a Gui, try running startx to initiate the X11 environment for whichever Gui your environment is configured.

If you are running a Gui, try exploring the main menu, and see if there is a box to check for locking the screen when screensaver is active.
