Ubuntu Scanning with HP Psc 2210 - Not working
I have an acer aspire 5735 laptop running ubuntu intrepid ibex (8.10) and I'm having issues scanning using both Xsane and "scanner utility".

The error i most commonly get is "failed to open device `hpaio:/usb/PSC_2200_series?serial=MY2BPF32ZK0G': error during device I/0."
This was the direct error that i got from Xsane, but the scanner utility has also found the same thing (the error during device I/0).
I've also gotten a "hardware is busy, please reconnect" or something similar.

All the posts I've found so far have been very old and for earlier versions of ubuntu. I can't find anything that will explain what's going on.

The printing works fine, it's just the scanning.

Anyone have any ideas of what to do?
