Internet connection¦kernel re-configuration
when I installed debian I guess I missed something, since I can not connect to internet using linux.
I wanna fix the problem, BUT I really have no idea of how to do it, but wanna learn (that´s important I guess). Do I have to reconfigure the kernel? If so...HOW? actually...what does that really mean?
Anyway, if I wanna fix it...do I have to do something special(jump high, kiss my mother, have any special CD, I don´t know...)
Any help is welcome(don´t laught too much of a newbie)

ok, ok, I went one step further...one shouldn´t say "reconfigure the kernel" right? Instead, one should say "recompile the kernel", am I right?
Then...(again) HOW?
