Solved: Saving files booting DSL from USB
Hello Everyone,
I followed the instructions at http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index...within_Windows and got DSL to work successfully.
How can i save files to my USB flash drive(2GB kingston Data Traveler that I am using to boot DSL)that I create using DSL?
When I try to this, the files created are gone when i reboot the system.

DSL occupies only 50 Mb size. Is there any way i can make use of the remaining space in my 2 GB drive?

Thanks.

Is this guide of any help in making files persistent? Not tried it myself.

Thanks for replying, Richard.
I tried that too.
Unfortunately still i can't get it to work.(It allows saving only configurations. Files disappear as I reboot)
So I switched to Linux Mint Distro which currently works fine.
Thanks again for your time.

I too like Mint, glad you found something that worked.
