Lighthouse Pup - KDE MediaManager is Not Running
I tried Linux Lighthouse Pup V 3.01 and like it. I am a novice in starting to explore what Linux can do. Running it in a Live-CD mode.

Everything seems to work great but when I try to download anything or transfer files, etc, I get a message window saying "KDE MediaManager is Not Running". Impossible to download anything off the web. Tried between drives, folders and the same thing. Can not transfer / copy any files.

When I go into the service manager thing, the box for KDE MediaManager is checked but reported as not running. Not sure exactly what this is but maybe it loaded on startup, least that is what the table suggests.

Think I had this same problem in trying to run the Puppy V 4.1.2.

In researching around I find it is sort of a common problem. Could not find anything directed at a Puppy Fix. Some said, toggle it on / off, I tried that, no help. Some seemed to suggest something is missing and needed to be loaded.

What do I need to do to fix this so I can do normal downloads off the Web? I am in the barely understanding what Linux is about stage.

I like using Puppy it is fast and operates well, pretty easy to understand but got to fix this problem or it is not very useful. Might help if I understood better what is required.

TIA
