Need Help Picking Right OS for Home Server
Ok so im trying to build a good home server for myself, i have a laptop, a HTPC and 2 Server computers.

i mainly want to use the servers for streaming videos and audio to my HTPC but also to house my files.

i may also want to setup a webserver

any suggestions for the best distro preferrably free.

Hard Drive 5: Seagate 1TB
Memory: 4GB Rendition 800MHZ

Most Linux distros will do duty for servers. If you're not very familiar with Linux, I wouldn't recommend a server oriented distro. Just use a GUI distro and tweak it to your liking.

Q: why do you need more than one server?
