HELP! Can't play Youtube or Pandora on Linux!
Hello. I'm still settling in to Ubuntu so I'll probably be posting a lot of questions. This forum site is really helpful and has some of the most knowledgeable(is this how you say it?) people. This is my most current problem: I can't play Pandora because it just loads 1/4th of the way and for youtube, it plays but the menu is distorted and the image constantly freezes while the sound is unsynchronized and the circle-thingy doesn't move as the video plays.I know that the youtube part was a lot of information but no matter what I do, it stays the same. I already have Java and Flash(at least, I think so). Thanks a lot. This forum has helped me a lot and after I settle in to Ubuntu, hopefully, I can contribute.

How much RAM have you got? It might be failing if you haven't got enough.

Make sure you have installed ubuntu-restricted-extras.

Add the Medibuntu Repository as shown at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Me...20Repositories . Note that it is a TWO part installation. 1) Add the Repository 2) Get the GPG key. Make sure you have w32codecs (OR w64codecs if appropriate)

I have 512 mb of RAM. However, both Pandora and Youtube work fine in Windows.

EDIT: My terminal says that it can't connect with Medibuntu's website
