I installed linuxj on my computer because my windows xp is virus infected and is basically unusable and i need some help;

I either want to remove windows and just have linux

or wipe the hard drive clean and install linux by itself
can anyone help me with this???

well windows cant read your ubuntu files so all is good there
so you can fix windows by killing the infection
oryou can put in the x ubuntu cd and it will walk you through it,
it can be a little complicated if you have existing partitions..and want to keep them,but if you want to reformat the entire drive just boot form the cd and it will walk you through...you can abort at any time if you are having trouble understanding it
