Fedoracore10 switch to ubuntu
I'm using FC10 and want to switch to ubuntu 9.04, or maybe Debian5...
Can i just pop in the installer disk and clear the fedora partition, or will there be issues with GRUB?
I've heard some horror stories concerning not being able to boot after getting rid of fedora due to grub.

I'm dualbooting with Vista on the primary partition.

The installer for Ubuntu includes a partitioning step. You can use the manual options to remove all the partitions and create new ones if you choose and you can just keep the ones you have if you want. There should be no problems installing.
