Ubuntu 9.04 display problems?
I just installed Ubuntu 9.04 and did all of the updates. Now It will only display 800x600, where before it displayed up to 1280x1024. My monitor (Optiquest q71) supports up to 1280x1024, but I had it set to 1024x768. How can I make it go back to 1024x768? I can't figure out how...

The updates probably goobered up your video card drivers. Do you have an Nvidia video card? Had you previously installed the Nvidia drivers from Synaptic or from the Nvidia driver installation script (from Nvidia's website)? If so, you'll probably have to update them now that you've updated your Ubuntu.
