Can you see the cartoon from ... I can't
Every time I try to visit the Daily Green website to see the Artic Circle comic of the day, I get a No Referrer response with no comic - what to you see at the following webpage?

Arctic Circle - A Daily Global Warming Comic.

If you can see the comic with Linux, what browser are you using with what add-ons and settings?

I use Firefox 3.0.13 with NoScript on Ubuntu 9.04.

Hi RootbeaR,

I would like to know your NoScript settings as that is the most likely thing that is causing this problem - can you compile and send them in a PM if its not too much trouble?

Tell me how to do so and I will.

In a nutshell, everything, with very few exceptions, needs my permission. Including above page.

Hi vtel57,

You need to get the Firefox NoScript Add-on to protect against cross-scripting attacks.

Thanks for your reply.

Myeh... *shrugging*

I run restricted cookie settings along with Adblock Plus. I also don't visit any of the types of websites where that exploit is popular.

I'm not too worried about it (famous last words ). Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Well, been using FF in Linux since 2006 w/ no issues. However, if something does happen in the future, I'll be sure and give you the opportunity for an "I told you so" moment.

Seriously though, the research I had done on this a year or so ago was about 60% - don't worry about it and 40% - yup, it's serious.

I am a couple versions behind, though. Think I'll go download the latest.

Thanks, Tom.
