Post Linux Mint 6 USB: The audio device is busy. Is another application using it?
I've got Linux Mint 6 USB. Whenever I try to play any audio or video that has audio in Totem Movie Player, it plays it very slowly and with lots of cuts along with the message "The audio device is busy. Is another application using it?"
Ex: If I try to play an audio file that contains the word "Computers", it plays it as "cccccc ooooomm mmmmmmpppppp uuuuuu tttttttttteee rrrrrrrrr".
I am not able to play any audio well in any audio player i have.

The example is for an audio file that is not played by an audio player, it is for audio that is played automatically by mint(like the sound that mint makes after it boots). Correction: Not " the word "Computers" ", it is " the word "Computer" "
