I'm trying to make a USB ubuntu flash drive from ubuntu 9.10 installed on my computer. I use the option in administration to try this. But I get an error while copying files to the flash drive. My source is a CD with an ubuntu iso file downloaded from ubuntu. But this file appears to me to be an installation file and not a live CD file. I've looked at
www.pendrivelinux.com to get a live ubuntu file in the live CDs list but it appears that's not what I'm getting. This is where I got the link to download the live ubuntu file:
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/live-cd-repository/
What do I need to do differently to get this to work?
Please see attached images for error code. Th other image is the contents of the 4gb flash drive when copying to it is halted.
