Solved: Film Scanning
Can anyone tell me how I can get a flatbed/film scanner to work in Ubuntu.

I tried Canon and the Epson Perfection V200 Photo scanners to scan slides. Neither would work in Ubuntu, either scanning slides or documents. Xsane doesn't recognise them. They both worked in Windows XP. Other flatbed scanners work OK.

Thankyou Arochester, I have saved the information as a .pdf file (77 - A4 pages).

I use CUPS/PDF Printer to save webpages and emails. 77 pages took about 1 minute to save.
