Noobie needs help with Linux Mint and Airlink101 AWLL6070 USB Netwrok Adapter
Ok first off i apologize in advance that i am an Uber-noob when it comes to Linux (only had if for 24 hours) but I am working on learning it so bear with me please. I recently installed Linux Mint (Helena) and its great but im having a nightmare of a time trying to install my Airlink101 AWLL6070 150N Wireless USB network adapter. Im running Linux on a dual boot with Windows XP if it matters. I have tried to work with the little info i found on the subject on the internet. i used Windows Wireless Drivers or something liek that which was in the Control Center. I used the rt2870.inf file and it installs but then comes up with the error window saying that the network device couldn't be found or recognized (i apologize that i do not have the exact words). I looked around and in an Amazon user review for my network adapter someone posted that it is suppsoed to work with Linux but that you need to use soem other file not the rt2b70 that's offered by the manufacturer. Now i do not knwo if this si true or not but i would appreciate any help offered. And again please bear with me as i am very very new to Linux. Thank you

-Will
