I had XP on my computer.I put the XP in my computer to format it. after I format it now I can't load linux. all it says ISOLINUX 3.53 Debian-2007-12-11 Copyright (c) 1994-2007 H.peter Anvin
How do I get the CD to load on my computer?

What you are seeing is probably not the "disk". It's probably a very small part of the disk called the MBR or Master Boot Record. As it's name implies it keeps a record of the boot instructions. Formatting a disk with XP does not take away or alter the MBR.

We need more information first, are you trying to load Linux only? Or Linux and XP? Have you looked at the BIOS to make sure that the computer is set to boot from the CD-Rom first, before the Hard Drive?

I am just trying to load Linux. yes it loads from the CD first. It has a 60GB hard drive. If I put windows back Then load Linux. Don't they have to be on different drives. I can load XP with no problem.

Okay....
Let's start with where you got the Linux disk. Did someone give it to you? Or did you download something? If you downloading something, what is it? Is it a file? Might that file have a .ISO extension?

Then I would suggest you call them and tell them that the disk doesn't work.
