how can i run windows apps on linux redhat?

That is not at all possible. The apps in windows have the exe extension and linux doesnt even understand what the exe is all about. Waste of time. Linux instead has other file extensions like tar,gz etc and they only can run in linux.

No program designed for Linux will run on Windows and vice-versa.

You can leave alone the other files like txt,doc,mp3... they'll work on both.

Just to add on. Infact you wont even see the partitions in the FAT format until and unless you mount them. So exe files will not work under Linux let is be Redhat or any distro.

But what are the programs that you want to run? You can get most of the programs that run under Windows for Linux too. All you've to do is download the different format.

I didnt find a ver compatible with Linux for that program... I dont think there is any too as the main site has the program download only for Win...

I read your question to mean "will a MS windows program run on Linux?"and the answer,as pvc9 said,is no.
But...
There are emulation programs that more or less place themselves between Linux and the Windows program and fool both into thinking all is well.The most notable are Wine and WineX.Theres also a version that comes with some distros called Codeweavers.And there are commercial versions like Win4Lin and VMware.Some win apps work okay with them,I've heard, but they have to go thru so many levels of operation that they're about as fast as running the app on a 486

I'd dual-boot instead of running a crappy emulator.

I use Linux 95% of the time and use windows for only a few things.Works great for me.HTH
