Unhappy Sendmail
I've got a RedHat 7.3 box set up as a webserver, but I'm mainly just using it for a CGI programming environment. I did download and set up a game of Black Nova Traders for it, which requires people who sign up to receive an email for their password. No one is able to receive their email though, so I'm assuming that sendmail can't send anything with its default config (yes, I'm a complete newb to sendmail, all the FAQs and documentation went wayyyy over my head). phpBB2 can send email without a problem though, so I'm not sure if it just works sporadically, or if phpBB has it's own sendmail config, or whatever.

In short, is there a simple way to configure sendmail to send outgoing mail? No one else has access to this server, php/Perl scripts will be all that's sending anything and it's behind a router with only the webserver's port forwarded to it, so I don't think security will be much of an issue...
