Hi guys

Unfortunately im having to settle with this distro..........dial up connections

I have a bit of an issue, whereas i have an internal Modular Technology 56k Modem with no drivers.

I have checked their website but absolutely nothing for any distro of Linux.

Any of you guys know where i could download even a generic driver for this modem, as im gagging to just get cracking on my Linux adventure?!?

Can you be more specific about the modem?They make a lot of different models
It may be you have a Winmodem,which means you're out of luck.Here's a link about them .
How old is the modem?It may be that the modem didnt exist when RH 5.2 was released.
I have found SupraExpress ISA modems or just about any external modem will work,especially with older distributions.
