Hello,
I just got a copy of Mandrake Linux 8.0 , I would like to network to my other windows machines. I do not know how to do this and I need help. Anybody have any suggestions?

your best bet would be a 4port Router with Patch cable to connect each puter to the Router and a NIC card in both PCs.

Sorry I gorgot to say all my pc are alrady netwoeked. I just want linux and windows to see each other.

samba... http://samba.org/ but be warned... its a b!tch to configure...


you could always go with setting up a local ftp server, on either or both systems, for transferring files...
