I think all the viruses are gone. So whenever AVG Resident Shield pops up and asks me to heal something, it's just doing it's job, right? And I'm assuming it should pop up less the more protected I am.

Well, I'll continue following the suggestions you have given me to protect my computer better.

yes, if AVG jumps up, as you say, it's found a virus.

If it says it's healed, or in the virus vault no probs.

Most of these pests end up in system restore, which AVG and any other anti-virus prog can't heal.

Why, because anything in system restore can only be accessed by system restore, they aren't going anywhere. If this happens again, simply turn off system restore, then re-enable it, it will flush out the bugs, If a virus gets into system restore as reported by AVG or anything else, it aint going anywhere, it's trapped!

post another log, to make sure your clean!
