we haven't finished yet by a long way

please post the vundofix report so I can see what it did fix & what it missed

next I want to look for some hidden entries ( there are things still showing to fix but I want to try to get as much in one go as we can )
  • Download WinPFind
  • Right Click the Zip Folder and Select "Extract All"
  • Extract it somewhere you will remember like the Desktop
  • Dont do anything with it yet!

Reboot into Safe Mode
Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Doubleclick WinPFind.exe
  • Click " Configure Scan Options"
  • Select " Run Add ONs" and then select ALL the options in the box below it, Press Apply
  • Now Click "Start Scan"
  • It will scan the entire System, so please be patient!
  • Once the Scan is Complete
    • Reboot back to Normal Mode!
    • Go to the WinPFind folder
    • Locate WinPFind.txt
    • Place those results in the next post!. It will be too big to post so you will need to attach it to your reply

After I ran Vundofix initially my computer rebooted. I've tried to rerun Vundofix, but it does not find any problems. What I downloaded was an app only, and if it did create a log I'm not sure to where. I'll run a search on that, and.
Safe mode still isn't an option. It only offers windows xp, and recovery. Since I don't have an option I'll follow the instructions save safe mode.

1. Please download The Avenger by Swandog46 to your Desktop.
  • Click on Avenger.zip to open the file
  • Extract avenger.exe to your desktop

2. Copy all the text contained in the quote box below to your Clipboard by highlighting it and pressing (Ctrl+C):

Quote:
Files to delete:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\awtqo.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\awtsq.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\awvtt.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ddabb.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ddcyv.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\geebc.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\jkhfe.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\jkkll.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mllmj.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mllmm.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mllmn.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\pmnnm.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssqrq.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssqrr.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssttq.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssttt.dll
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winmbj32.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ixt0.dll
C:\vm404.log

Note: the above code was created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do NOT follow these directions as they could damage the workings of your system.

3. Now, start The Avenger program by clicking on its icon on your desktop.
  • Under "Script file to execute" choose "Input Script Manually".
  • Now click on the Magnifying Glass icon which will open a new window titled "View/edit script"
  • Paste the text copied to clipboard into this window by pressing (Ctrl+V).
  • Click Done
  • Now click on the Green Light to begin execution of the script
  • Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.
4. The Avenger will automatically do the following:
  • It will Restart your computer. ( In cases where the code to execute contains "Drivers to Unload", The Avenger will actually restart your system twice.)
  • On reboot, it will briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
  • After the restart, it creates a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
  • The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.
5. Please copy/paste the content of c:\avenger.txt into your reply with a new HJT log

NOTE: several of the files I have set to delete might not actually exist

then

please go to http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=1.0 and upload these files so I can examine them and distribute them to antivirus companies.
Just press new topic, fill in the needed details and just give a link to your post here & then press the browse button and then navigate to & select the files on your computer, If there is more than 1 file then press the more attachments button for each extra file and browse and select etc and then when all the files are listed in the windows press send to upload the files ( do not post HJT logs there as they will not get dealt with)

Files to submit:

C:\avenger\backup.zip

however if you can't upload then don't worry too much

you could just try at this site please
