[bboynumber1]

whenever I open my internet explorer it goes to a different website www.bloggers4labour.org so I run a hijackthis from the infected computer and save it into a file and send it from my laptop(the only way to acces internet).

I called my ISP and theyn could not help me so I decided to install IE7 but still the same pb.

Lets take a deeper look:

Download WinPFind3U.exe to your Desktop and double-click on it to extract the files. It will create a folder named WinPFind3u on your desktop.

1. Open the WinPFind3u folder and double-click on WinPFind3U.exe to start the program.
   1. In the Processes group click All
   2. In the Win32 Services group click Non-Microsoft
   3. In the Driver Services group click Non-Microsoft
   4. In the Registry group click Non-Microsoft
   5. In the Files Created Within group click 60 days Make sure Non-Microsoft only is UNCHECKED
   6. In the Files Modified Within group select 30 days Make sure Non-Microsoft only is CHECKED
   7. In the File String Search group select Non-Microsoft
2. Now click the Run Scan button on the toolbar.
3. The program will be scanning huge amounts of data so depending on your system it could take a long time to complete. Let it run unhindered until it finishes.
4. When the scan is complete Notepad will open with the report file loaded in it.
5. Save that notepad file

Use the Reply button and attach the notepad file here (Do not copy and paste in a reply, rather attach it to it).

Lets see if we can connect:

1. Enter your Control Panel and double-click on Network Connections
2. Then right click on your Default Connection

5. Select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS Servers Automatically
6. Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen
7. Restart the computer

ipconfig /flushdns (The space between g and / is needed)
Exit

Restart the computer and attempt to connect.

Reset the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

Go to Start->Run, type CMD and click Ok. The MSDOS window will be displayed. At the prompt type the following and press Enter after each line:

netsh int ip reset C:\Resetlog.txt
netsh winsock reset catalog
Exit

Restart the computer. Attempt to connect.

If you are able to connet, download Superantispyware (SAS)

1. Install it and double-click the icon on your desktop to run it.
2. It will ask if you want to update the program definitions, click Yes.
3. Under Configuration and Preferences, click the Preferences button.
4. Click the Scanning Control tab.
5. Under Scanner Options make sure the following are checked:
   1. Close browsers before scanning
   2. Scan for tracking cookies
   3. Terminate memory threats before quarantining.
   4. Please leave the others unchecked.
   5. Click the Close button to leave the control center screen.
6. On the main screen, under Scan for Harmful Software click Scan your computer.
7. On the left check C:\Fixed Drive.
8. On the right, under Complete Scan, choose Perform Complete Scan.
9. Click Next to start the scan. Please be patient while it scans your computer.
10. After the scan is complete a summary box will appear. Click OK.
11. Make sure everything in the white box has a check next to it, then click Next.
12. It will quarantine what it found and if it asks if you want to reboot, click Yes.
13. To retrieve the removal information, please do the following:
    1. After reboot, double-click the SUPERAntispyware icon on your desktop.
    2. Click Preferences. Click the Statistics/Logs tab.
    3. Under Scanner Logs, double-click SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log.
    4. It will open in your default text editor (such as Notepad/Wordpad).
    5. Please highlight everything in the notepad, then right-click and choose copy.
14. Click close and close again to exit the program.
15. Please paste that information in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

Follow these steps also:

Download the HostsXpert 3.8 - Hosts File Manager.

• Unzip HostsXpert 3.8 - Hosts File Manager to a convenient folder such as C:\HostsXpert
• Click HostsXpert.exe to Run HostsXpert 3.8 - Hosts File Manager from its new home
• Click "Make Hosts Writable?" in the upper right corner (If available).
• Click Restore Microsoft's Hosts file and then click OK.
• Click the X to exit the program.
• Note: If you were using a custom Hosts file you will need to replace any of those entries yourself.

I believe you have a Wareout infection. But you must be able to connect to run the tool.

Lets try SmitfraudFix:

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.

Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

**If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C:), and launch from there.


Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
