HELP!!!! PC has McAfee but still a trojan crept in..
How can a trojan creep in if I have McAfee?? Can someone please explain?? How do I get rid of the following??

trojan.spy.delf.uc (3 infections)
and
Winfixer (6 infections)

I did a free Spyware doctor and this is what it came up with. Please help. I want them removed from my fairly new machine.

I have run McAfee and it didn't find the Trojan and I ran SAS and Adware Lavasoft SE and they didn't find it either. The free version of Spyware Doctor found it. Please can someone tell me if it is truly there then?? Here is the HJT log.

Download win32delfkil.exe: http://users.telenet.be/marcvn/tools/win32delfkil.exe
Save it on your desktop.
Double click on win32delfkil.exe and install it. This creates a new folder on your desktop: win32delfkil
Close all windows, open the win32delfkil folder and double click on fix.bat.

The computer will reboot automatically
================

If you have vundofix, remove it and get the current version

Please download http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4 to C:\
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES.
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
Turn your computer back on.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears at reboot.

Please let Vundo finish its thing, sometimes it can take multiple passes

hmm not sure what this all means..
Here is the notepad of its findings. You said that I had to double click on fix.bat but that was not given to me as an option. I double clicked on the file I downloaded and it did its thing. It turned off my PC and gave me this log. What does it all mean?

The other thing couldn't find Vundo on my pc.
As for what Spydoctor said it found. It said it found SDBot Trojan on my PC but it would not tell me where it had found it. For this I had to pay money for the program.

I asked you to post the vundo log - C:\vundofix.txt

Download AVG Anti-Spyware from http://www.ewido.net/en/download/ and save that file to your desktop. Note: This is NOT the Anti Virus from AVG.

When the trial period expires it becomes feature-limited freeware but is still worth keeping as a good on-demand scanner.
1. Once you have downloaded AVG Anti-Spyware, locate the icon on the desktop and double click it to launch the set up program.
2. Once the setup is complete you will need run AVG Anti-Spyware and update the definition files.
3. On the main screen select the icon "Update" then select the "Update now" link.
o Next select the "Start Update" button. The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
4. Once the update has completed, select the "Scanner" icon at the top of the screen, then select the "Settings" tab.
5. Once in the Settings screen click on "Recommended actions" and then select "Quarantine".
6. Under "Reports"
o Select "Automatically generate report after every scan"
o Un-Select "Only if threats were found"
Close AVG Anti-Spyware. Do Not run a scan just yet, we will run it in safe mode.
1. Reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode then hit enter.

IMPORTANT: Do not open any other windows or programs while AVG Anti-Spyware is scanning as it may interfere with the scanning process:
2. Launch AVG Anti-Spyware by double clicking the icon on your desktop.
3. Select the "Scanner" icon at the top and then the "Scan" tab then click on "Complete System Scan".
4. AVG will now begin the scanning process. Please be patient as this may take a little time.
Once the scan is complete, do the following:
5. If you have any infections you will be prompted. Then select "Apply all actions."
6. Next select the "Reports" icon at the top.
7. Select the "Save report as" button in the lower lef- hand of the screen and save it to a text file on your system (make sure to remember where you saved that file. This is important).
8. Close AVG Anti-Spyware and reboot your system back into Normal Mode.
Post the log from AVG and a new HiJack log

Either you are not running it or you are not letting it finish - ther eis always that file

NOTE: If you have downloaded ComboFix previously please delete that version and download it again!

Download this file :

http://www.techsupportforum.com/sect...s/ComboFix.exe
or
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com...a/ComboFix.exe

Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJack log in your next reply

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall
