Please help remove superiorads and dcads
So basically what this is, is i was reading a separate post about someone who had a similar problem as myself. I dont believe this is a toolbar thats giving me hell, as much as just random popups that basically close out of whatever i'm doing to come up. For example, I was trying to watch a movie with media player, and it kept exiting full screen to pop up. In any case, I've got the beta version of combofix as I saw that's what someone else was instructed to do. But i read however that the instructions given were for that person's specific computer. If you could help me remove this stuff i would be very grateful. Thank you very much in advance.

it's actually running quite well, the number of ads has been minimized to almost none.. I just got one from Dcads, not sure why, but its the first one in a few days. Thanks!

Open Hijackthis, Click Open the Misc tools section Then click the Open Uninstall Manager... button.
The Add/Remove Programs Manager panel should appear.
In this panel click the Save list button.
Save the uninstall_list.txt file to your desktop and copy and paste the contents back in your next reply.

Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version of Java components and upgrade the application. Beware it is NOT supported for use in 9x or ME and probably will not install in those systems

Ugrading Java:
  • Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u4.
  • Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications".
  • Click the "Download" button to the right.
  • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
  • The page will refresh.
  • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
  • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
  • Go to Start > Control Panel, double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
  • Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
  • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
  • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java version.
  • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
  • Then from your desktop double-click on the download to install the newest version.

alright I did the above things and have so far gone without any disturbances.. Just wanted to say thanks again for all the help you gave, i know it must be a drag helping people with the same stuff over and over again.. But i appreciate it!

alright i keep getting one pop up every now and then that doesnt really disturb anything, but i think we've almost got it all. I think this because it's the same ad every time, rather then different ones stacking like it was before.
