| MS Visual C++ runtime library buffer overrun/ system32\spoolsv.exe error Hi, I've recently started having this problem when I start up my computer. When I startup, i get the message: Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library Buffer overrun detected C:\Windows\System32\Spoolsv.exe A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated. This message keeps periodically popping up. In addition to this, my computer no longer recognizes any printers/faxes and has lost all the printers already configured. I am not sure if this is malware related or not, but I have run Lavasoft (Ad-Aware) and SUPERAntiSpyware, and both of them did not detect any threat. Can anyone help? Thanks. | Hi all, I still haven't solved this. I didn't mention in my previous post that for this seems to also kill the print spooler service. If I go through services and restart the print spooler service, the buffer overrun kills it and stops it again. Does any one have any ideas on how i can fix this? |
