Unhappy AVG Threat Detected - Trojanhorse Small.AOQ
I have three computers in my house that all have AVG as the antivirus program. All three computers have been getting the same message on startup - THREAT DETECTED
Trojan horse Small.AOQ - file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\Drivers\mchlnjDrv.sys. AVG will not get rid of this file, and I cannot find the file when doing a search. I also have Spyware Doctor on all three computers. I am attaching the HiJack This file from the computer I am currently using. Please HELP!!! Thanks!

I have not heard from anyone yet about this problem, but I downloaded MalwareBytes Antimalware and ran it - it found nothing. I am attaching the Malwarebytes log as well as a new HiJack This log. In the meantime, I am going to run Kaspersky and will post those results. I am doing this since I saw your advice to someone with a similar problem, but would appreciate hearing from someone myself. Thanks!

OK, I've found information to the effect that the driver is used by Spyware Doctor (as well as other security programs such as Comodo) so it's actually a false positive. You can tell AVG to ignore it or uninstall Spyware Doctor and the alerts will stop.

I don't see anything malicious in your HijackThis log.
