Antivirus 2009
Yesterday 2 text boxes came up while on the net: #1 "Windows Internet Explorer" Harmful & malicious software detected, these programs may damage your computer & steal your private information. Online security Scanner requires Antivirus 2009 components to repair your computer. Please click ok to download & install Antivirud 2009 components. #2 Attention!! If your computer is struck by spyware, you could suffer data loss, erratic PC behavior, PC freezes and crashes. Detect & remove viruses before they damage your compter. Antivirus 2009 will peform a 100% free & quick scan of your computer for viruses, spyware & adware. Do you want to install Antivirus 2009 to scan your computer for malware now? (Recommended)
The intrusions were very insistant, I had to shut my machine down to stop them from comming up again & again. I did a Spybot S&D scan and came up with nothing, but my AVG showed a "Virus Found Fake Alert. (File Freescan (1) HTM. But for the last month every day the AVG came up with a "Trojan Horse FSW. Generic ZD1" (File Rukshuk.1 DC).
Any ideas?
A few days ago MS also said that "Service pack 3" is ready to download. What's your thoughts about this?
