Exclamation Cannot connect to internet
I hope someone can help....

This is for my neighbor that is having a problem getting onto the internet. They are running Windows XP. They also cannot to a system restore. They get through the process of restore to an earlier time, but comes up with an error that they cannot complete the restore. Anyway, we have reset the settings in IE, and following another post have done this......

sam2711, Try the following:

1. Quit all programs that are running.

2. Click Start, and then click Run

3.Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.

4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):
Shdocvw.dll
Actxprxy.dll
Oleaut32.dll
Mshtml.dll
Browseui.dll
Shell32.dll

Note that there is a space between the regsvr32 and the file name.

Restart your computer after doing the above.........................................................

.......I did get an error on Browseui.dll ????

Also, this is on a wireless network, with 2 other pc's in the house running off the same router and no problems with either of them.......
