I have a virus.
Somehow I got a virus on my windows vista laptop. It has been telling me my security center is off, but won't let me turn it on. It says WARNING: your computer is infected. It says my save folder is invalid and askes me to choose another then won't let me select anything. It does random searches....the list goes on forever. I really don't know anything about trying to fix this. Also I have been trying to uninstall a couple programs and they will not uninstall. The computer is completely unusable at this point. Any help is appreciated

I would disregard the above and then download and install hijackthis, then run and post the log in this thread while I request this be moved to the Malware Forum for professional help.
