Greetings. Windows XP Pro (Laptop). Received fictitious alert about windows tool {?} and virus found. I do not have that product, obviously malware of some sort. I was running Symantec AV. It did not catch anything. After doing a little research, I found I could not start taskmanager (no message about being blocked by admin, it just would not start. NOt from Ctrl-Alt-Del or cmd - taskman.exe or right clicking on the start bar. The menu choice was available but when cliked nothing happens.) Decided to go into safe mode and see what I could find. Safe mode will not boot, it loads the drivers then BSOD. Ran MalwareBytes, Spybot (was running active, updated and scanned) no results from those. I upgraded to Kaspersky to see if it would find anything alas it did not.

Here I am with my hjt log. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you happen to get the physical address of the SOB that created this mess let me know, I'll be discrete about it
