The other morning, after downloading some music the night before, I awoke to my screen being completely blue, no desktop icons, and numerous windows from "security tool". After doing a little research on what was left of my computer, I was able to find a way to remove the virus using process explorer and Malwarebytes. After work I found yet another series of pop up notifications on my screen from another fake antivirus program I never downloaded (Can't remember the name). After running malwarebytes and Spyware Terminator I stopped seeing that fake anti-virus thing, but it's since been replaced with MaCatte. Malwarebytes isn't reading anything, nor is Spyware Terminator, nor is Avira. Haven't tried a system restore yet. I'd have to go buy a drive to backup all my work, and from what I've read it might not help anyway so I'd like to avoid that if I can. Thanks in advance!

Since posting, Macatte seems to have disappeared however Avira is still notifying me of Trojans every 2 minutes.
