Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me out.

I'm running Windows XP, SP3 on a Dell laptop with McAfee.
Over the past few days I've used Malwarebytes and Glary Utilities with moderate success.

I see an ESET file in here, but I haven't used it in about a year removed all files... or so I thought. Also of note, I do have files installed for a pen tablet... no probelms with this.

About a week ago, my computer stopped going into hibernation (I've had the computer for 3 years and never had this problem).

I've read up a bit on this, and can't seem to figure it out. I haven't added memory or altered anything. My computer is basically the same machine as it was 3 years ago... of course, minus the various bugs over the years.

I performed a Windows update, which seems to have set off all kinds of problems. As soon as this update completed, my internet searches have redirected to various other pages... mostly selling virus protection or spyware removal, but mostly redirecting me to www.theclickcheck.com.
