A prior thread may have answered this. While I play Scrabble by Infogrames I hear the disk drive thrashing and then my screen goes black. I've tried to ctrl-alt-delete to get to the processes window of task manager, but never in time to find the culprit. I am assuming this is some sort of harmless malware being annoying, something some wise guy unleashed, but it could be more damaging.

At a minimum, it's annoying as ... the dickens.
