Is the house finished? I would think from 03/2009 you would be done and living in it for a while. But... when you're building your own, anything can happen...

The blizzards this winter has put a stop to everything. We have stuff ordered and they couldn't get the order done because the factory was up north and those people couldn't get to work.....we've got stuff ordered that can't be delivered because of the snow and ice on our drive. Temperatures have been in the single digits.......we've had 60 mph winds........we are two months behind where we wanted to be by now.

    *sigh*

Hopefully our custom windows will be delivered next week and we can at least get those in.

As soon as the weather breaks, we've got everything ready to start up again. We should be moved in by the end of this summer. Two things that take a very long time.....you have to power wash the the logs and sand everything very smooth in order to put the sealer on. The washing and sanding of the inside of the house took so long, that the weather got too cold to put the sealer on. We've yet to even start on the outside.

It was a pretty nice day today. Hopefully things are warming up for you there. My brother is building his own house too.
I never would have thought about cleaning the logs for the sealer. Good luck.
