- Retired last year from the New Furniture industry as an over-the-road trucker here in western NC. Am a licensed pilot, but have not flown for years because of the cost (up,up it goes.) A new Google facility is being built here in our county. Hope to find some part time work there when they open.
Grew up as an Air Force dependant (Air Force Brat.) It was a good life with my Dad being an officer and having a brother and little sister. Dad is doing remarkably well for 90 but Mom is declining at 82. Trucking was good but it sure is sweet to stay at home with Mr. Computer in the winter time at "Cozy Cottage" in the foothills of NC. - Location
