I purchased and added new memory, (ram). Since installed, my computer keeps freezing on me. Also, there is a tapping sound from the computer, most times, before it freezes.

The memory has been replaced 3 times by 4 All Memory, and none has worked.

Does any of those programs like "update your old drivers" or Bios Updates work? and if so which program, would someone who has purchased and used, recomends?

By the way, some times there is a blue screen that comes out that something along these lines:

"If this is the first time you have seen this stop error, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware is properly installed.

If problems continue, disable or remove any now installed hardware or software. Disable Bios memory options such as caching or shadowing.

Can someone make something out of this?

    Thank you
    I hope someone can help.
