This only works IF you use a real raid card. You cannot go from non-raid to raid if you are using an onboard ie motherboard controller raid. If you are using a promise, highpoint, etc card, it is pretty easy to do.

    Which one are you using?

Hi I was just reading a tech post in which you said,
"in fact I have transferred from raid to non-raid and non-raid to raid many times"
Sorry, I know this is not where I am supposed to "AKS FOR TECH SUPPORT", however since I saw the statement you made in the other post, I wanted to ask you directly and I didn't know any other way.
I am trying to go from a non-raid to a raid-0 with vista using a trueImage11 backup. Everything went fine but now the system will not boot to the new raid-0 drive. It starts to boot, but then I see a quick blue screen flash and it reboots. This process just repeats over and over. I have tried to run windows repair from cd but it fails.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give,
    Zig
