Hi, I have a question about your Backups post. In this line "Once done with the above, when you need 'Clean install', you simply boot with your recovery CD that both apps have you make. Restore the image. You now have a clean install in all of 5~10min depending on the speed of your system." I am uncertain of understanding this. I have never had any Backup & Recovery disc work. I've stopped wasting the money on them. So how exactly does this this "..recovery CD that both apps have you make.." work? Will it require a functioning system on the machine to work? Can I use it from a total wipe such as with DBAN or on a new HD to get running to the point I can install the image? If one uses this method, is it the same as if the machine had been formatted and installed in the traditional way? Please enlighten me. Thank You

    Hi crjdriver
I was wondering if you can reopen the thread on OC again, i have few questions to ask....It is really an interesting thread and there are so many things unclear about OC..I do not want to take much of this PM space to talk about overclocking...I think it would be worth to leave it open to discussion...Thanks a lot

    Hi,
I just purchased a set of external speakers (Sony SRS-A201) that were really inexpensive. My wife is hard of hearing and I thought this would increase the volume on my MAC laptop. I have added speakers before and had no problem. I have connected the power source with their jack into the left speaker as indicated on package and connected the jack that comes out of the right speaker to my MAC. The power light (green) indicates power is on and the only two options for the jack into my MAC are the "headset icon, or the one right next to it that has an icon that looks like speakers. I went to XM.com and found that it didn't work. Am I missing something, or should I just return them. Thank You
