Hi Robbieart
I had a problem with a blank desktop and explorer came up with an error in task manager. I had struggled for 2 days when I found your advice- "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\explorer.exe". The advice was to delete.t - I did. It worked a treat. Thanks RogerCL
