I had a "serious" photo in for a coupla days and Tim said I looked like a KGB hitman Had to get rid of the earlier photo case the Guardia looks in and decides to investigate the field above the house.

Hey thanks! No, I did other things in the Air Force...somewhat IT related but nothing like this. Just did school and went after it. I found out day before yesterday that my Brother and Sister in-law are moving from Houston to BHAM...so being the good brother ...I've kept busy and will be for a few more days. Works for me though...I've gotten a touch bored not working so this should get me to my start date.

humidity (rel.) 83 pct at the moment, temp 30 degC (just past midnight) but the max temp for tomorrow is supposed to be 33 deg C. That's a relief since it was 38 deg C today. Plenty of fires around. Nothing like California has but a coupla houses go every year.

With two Sat dishes mounted on the roof I get a variety of European TV and further away programmes. Robert de Niro speaking Moroccan Arabic is a real hoot

But sometimes a gem here and there, as you say. France often has some nice little stories but I can understand them better in winter. The summer heat causes my rusty French to go completely down the drain.

Families and wars are sent to try us. I don't know what they're trying though.

No idea about the humidity (hygrometer's gone bust) but just twitching the nose has us marinating. "Once" is unknown to me but "without reservations" was on somewhere the other night but I missed it. I fully agree on Catherine ZJ so it was probably just as well. I would just have gotten hotter.

Saw "History of Violence" some weeks ago. Not too bad although the theme isn't new.

"The Kite runner" was definitely worth a watch. I like most things from the Islamic world of evil so that my perception of them actually NOT really having tails and hooves doesn't slip.

How are your kids? (I remember the situation is difficult, to put it mildly)

Big changes my friend, big changes. Left the military and just received an offer letter today (IT consulting) believe it or not. I'm pretty excited. I'll write more soon; wings to cook. Think you guys are in the national title hunt this year? I do, just don't tell.

Well there's a weed in it, that's for sure. But then that's what tabaco was originally held to be as well.
I watched a rerun of Klute this afternoon. We're pushing 40 deg C here at the moment so it doesn't matter what I watch, I can't pay attention anyway.
But I did take notice of young Jane.
