Hello, i have a similar problem with an Aser Aspire 3500. Did you solve your problem? if so, could you please send me the solution and the Service manual, i have spent a lot of time traying to solve this problem.

hi mate i joined after spending several hours googlein after wanting to do a usb stick with all the versions of windows on as iam a ict techi just like your self please let me no if you made any progress with it as iam looking for a way to eliminate my cd/dvd collection and make my job more simple.
