    That explains it- thank you for taking the time to let me know. That means that the program used (or in your case, mistakenly used) was configured to not allow copying. You might even have a difficult time with OCR software--- although you might try that.

    In fact, I would be willing to try that for you-- if you would like me to.

    Thanks for the thought. I use copy and paste a lot, but I couldn't do it from the PDF document because it would not allow me to highlight.
