Its been very slow going since we are doing it ourselves. Not sure what hubby got planned for tomorrow. Are you going to be able to get the house you wanted?

Advantages are, fun project, you get to experiment with different scents and herbs. If you are allergic, especially to scents and additives, you will benefit from the purity level.
My favorite handmade soap is oatmeal...the whole oats act like a scrubby, and it is exhilarating to me. I also love rose and lavendar scented soaps....and use teatree oil soaps for disinfecting and deep cleaning.
I don't make them any more, and buy these now at our co-op. They are homemade by a local.

With candles, some people can only have parrifin candles burning due to sensitivities, but you have to take into consideration, if a pet or kid eats parrafin, that is not good.

I would not even do them in the kithchen if there are children there. Lyes, parrafin....and other stuff used are poison. Also, I kept utensils separate. I did them in a workshed. It has been a lot of years ago.

We're just fine Becca, thanks for asking. The power bleeped a couple of times and the wind was decent but we didn't have any downed trees, tornadoes, etc. I've been in and out for the last week or so...did you guys find a house? I remember you said you were looking at some nice rentals...

I'm busy trying to find my nephews "little squirt" picture to show his wife next month at the wedding.

The twins are well. Josie is as bossy as ever. However, with Candy taking time off frequently and Di AWOL she may eventually become less of a pill due to lack of inspiration. I need Di to confirm that the 2 days a month are actually 48 consecutive hours. She wants to break them up and only count hours while she's asleep.

    About Me
I'm a TSG junkie/wannabe seamstress/SAHM....been married to a fabulous man since 2005, and our son was born in 2006.

I'm easily annoyed, generally nice, a bit goofy, extremely blunt, and pretty much a contradiction all around...;)

According to naucon.net, my drinking style is "Taurus prefers to drink at a leisurely pace, aiming for a mellow glow rather than a full on zonk. Since a truly intoxicated Taurus is a one-person stampede, the kind of bull-in-a-china-shop inebriate who spills red wine on white carpets and tells fart jokes to employers, the preference for wining and dining (or Bud and buddies) to body shots and barfing is quite fortunate for the rest of us. This is not to say that the Bull is by any means a teetotaler--god, no. A squiffy Taurus will get, er, gregarious (full of loudmouth soup, some would say) and is extremely amusing to drag to a karaoke bar when intoxicated." :p :p :D

Hope to see you on the boards!
