PLEBE Dear Greytabby, I wrote you a while back when your cousin, Robin, passed away. Today, as I'm trying to figure out how to use this site, I tripped across my previous mail to you and when I re-noticed your sign-on name, I just had to write you and tell you a story................About 2 or 3 wks ago, my husband and I returned from a wkend trip. After unloading things back into the house, I opened the bedroom drapes to make sure all was well out on the back porch. Golly gee, and apparently so!!, I found we had acquired a new friend while we were gone! Zonked out with 4 paws to the sky, and flat as a pancake, was OUR new grey tabby cat. He's a feral. We took him to our local humane society where they fixed him and tagged him, and now he's happy, happy. He's no longer flat as a pancake. Has no choice, but to get along with our other critters, i.e., Max, the dog, and our yard full of birds and squirrels. So far, so good. We named him Tacks, (after his nails). We're not really "cat people", but I figure, with all the passings of friends and family lately, he's gotta be a reincarnated gift of somebody. He's pretty cute; has long legs and saunters with a coooool-cat attitude.
Hope all is well with you. PLEBE
