Post subject: Explorer.exe crashes on Startup - Rootkit PLEASE HELP!!!!

I'm having terrible problems with my laptop and started to think that I’m losing the battle. I posted a thread in this website - http://forums.techguy.org/malware-re...p-rootkit.html to try to see some light in the end of the tunnel, but I’ve got just one reply - saying that the case is beyond repair. I’m still hopeful, though, as I saw that you were able to solve a similar problem before.

So… If you have some time to spare and is keen to help a random guy on the edge of a nervous breakdown, take a look in my case and give me a second opinion. I would really appreciate it. HijackThis and ComboFix logs are already there.

If you don’t have the time, don’t worry. I completely understand.
