- My aunt, Marlene, past away on Saturday 7/14/07. While helping her son, William, sort through his and Marlene's belongings, I was able to speak momentarily with Marlene's friend, Valley. Valley opened a window of boundless information about my aunt that I hadn't realized existed! In turn, the road eventually led me here, to techguy.org, where I found that my aunt had left quite an impact! I hope to be able to meet others online who had been influenced by her kindness and concern for them, and I look forward to countless stories and memories that each friend can share! I want to document these memories for William and the rest of Marlene's family so that her spirit will shine even once she is gone. Anyone who would like to contact me, please don't hesitate! I will reply to every email that I can! Please also send your condolences through the announcement that Help4Me posted on July 15th called Our Beloved Angel is Gone. I plan to print each condolence up through Saturday morning, and place a copy of all of your fond memories in Marlene's casket to rest with her for eternity. This forum's impact on her life and family is more than any user could imagine. Because of donations from techguy.org, we are able to provide Marlene with a proper funeral and burial, as opposed to the cremation that had originally been intended due to monetary constraints. Hearing from Valley about Marlene and TechGuy has forever impacted me. May my tears alone express how grateful William and our family are to the TechGuy community.
